Changing default action for Apply Change from Left

Is there any way to change the default action for the Apply Change from Left toolbar icon in the File Diff… window, for example to Prepend This rather than Replace with This? If not, I think it would be useful to have this option, when one of the other actions needs to be performed repeatedly with the same two files, to avoid having to right-click the selected text and choose this other action each time.

Sorry, but no. The toolbar buttons are set to apply the default (replace) action.

It would be nice to be able to either rebind it to prepend/append or maybe be
able to use the control keys to alter the toolbar button behavior.

I've logged a feature request for this.
