How to "unset" a working folder?

Post by jfaulken » Fri May 21, 2004 3:45 pm

This seems really simple, but I've searched and can't find any info on it... how do I "un" set a working folder for a directory in vault... specifically I want it to go back to Inherited status, so that it just picks up from its parent.

Thanks in advance, going nuts over this. :)

John:

Don't go too crazy. :D

Note, this is cut from the Help file:

Unset Working Folder
To Unset a working folder, select the folder and click on Set Working Folder. In the Add new folder box, delete the folder name. Click OK to unset the working folder.

Well, I'll be damned. That did it.

Maybe next time I should read the help. :)

Thanks!

...and for those using Windows Server 2003 - you'll need to look here:

Broken in 2.0.5

This appears to be broken in 2.0.5. :(

When I clear out the folder field, the OK button becomes disabled.

It isn't 2.0.5 - it is Windows 2003 and a XP SP2. See jeff's post at http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=1628

We'll have this addressed in 2.1 - sorry for the headache...
