problem in VSS and SOS

hi,

we are using VSS client for some system located at one office and SOS client for some computer situated in India. all systme are using VS2002 as development tool.
Problme is that some times check in done by VSS client are not getting reflected in SOS client even after refreshing file list.
VSS server is up to date with all patches.

Are you using SOS integrated with VS.NET 2002? If so, the IDE (integrated) client does not automatically refresh. You can set an option in the IDE refresh periodically. This would be in VS.NET->Tools->Options->Source Control->SCC Provider->Advanced->View->Automatically Refresh every X minutes.

If you are only using the GUI client, does closing the client and re-connecting to the SOS Server show the proper file status?
