How to mark minor edits?

How do you mark minor edits (ie, cosmetic ones, such as changes to comments), to distinguish them as edits that do not need to be reviewed when debugging?

As is probably obvious, I'm thinking about the "This is a minor change" checkbox found in some editing environment. :)

Sorry, Vault doesn't have anything like this right now. In the past, we have talked about allowing arbitrary (user-defined) properties to be associated with a file. A "this is a minor edit" flag would probably require a user-defined property to be associated with a version of file, which is one step beyond what we were thinking.

In any case, it will be awhile before either feature makes its way into the product, but it is something we've thought about and want to add eventually.

Ok, thanks for the info.

I assume you can see the benefit to the user of such a (possibly future) feature -- getting help in not looking through uninteresting change information.

Yes, we do want to add something like this. Eventually doesn't mean Never :)
