backup database error

I am using Vault 3.0

When I run the backup then system cranks along for about 5 minutes and then give the following error:

"The Vault server could not be contacted to perform the operation. Your network connection to the server may have been interrupted..."

I don't believe there is an issue with my network.

The problem happened after I set up my IIS server to only accept https. Could this be an issue?

Are you backing up through the Admin Tool? If so, Vault Server must be installed in SQL Auth mode, and SQL Server must be configured to allow SQL Auth Mode authentication.

Can you check your server log for an error message regarding Integrated Authentication. If you have this problem, this was covered the other day in a different thread- http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=2537

If you are using Windows Auth in either place, you will need to use SQL Server's tools for making backups.
