Permissions required for service account

I have SOS running on a system that does not have the Source Safe DB locally. Trying to start the server under local system fails. After reading the documentation, I reallized that I needed to have the service logon as a domain account. After changing the service account to a domain account that has access to the source safe library, the service still does not start. I found that I had to make the service account a local admin on the SOS server as well. This is not optimal for me because the SOS server is also a domain controller.

What permissions does the service account need on the SOS serever?

The SOS Server service account needs read/write access to the machine/drive/directory where the VSS database resides.
