Refresh status, VC++ 6.0

Post by bobby » Thu Nov 25, 2004 4:10 am

I have SOS as my default SCC provider.

I am using Visual Studio C++ V6.0, sp5.

From within Visual Studio the project/source control/refresh status menu item does not work.

If I check several files in/out from the SOS client the status is not updated in Visual Studio. The only way I can refresh the file status is to unload then reload the project.

Is this a known feature?

Regards,

Bob

More like a bug. It's logged in our bug database, but I've upped the priority.

Is there a reason you aren't doing the checkouts within Visual C++, so that the view will be current?

Yes,

When I've been editing a lot of files it is sometimes a lot easier to manage the file check in with a flat file view rather than my project view.

I organise files in my project into different folders which don't reflect the actual directory structure.
