Question about VSS database

Hi,

We are considering purchasing SOS. However, we need to know if SOS modifies the original VSS database in any way. Of course there will be modifications made by normal operations like check-ins, check-outs etc by the SOS client, but besides these, does SOS make any other modifications to the VSS database in order to support its own functionalities?

SOS itself doesn't make any modifications to the VSS database. Users logging in can make changes to source code or to the project tree just as they can with a VSS client. Also, SOS has no admin functions like the VSS Admin Client does.
