Support higher scale settings

Post by BigBrett » Sun Jun 14, 2020 9:21 pm

Updated to version 10.1 which is stated to support screen scaling up to 200%.

The laptop I am currently working on at home is running at recommended display settings of 3840 x 2160 at a recommended scale of 250% (very difficult to read at 200%). Consequently I still see truncated dialogs, etc.

Please increase scaling support to 250%.

Regards,
Brett

It is understood as pixel density gets higher and higher that font scaling will be an issue. Unfortunately, at this moment, there's no quick fix to scale much higher than the supported 200%. We're waiting on Microsoft's release of .NET 5 and will investigate any other fixes to see if anything will be done to the UI foundation supporting the visual elements within the Vault GUI / Visual Studio clients.

Thanks for the reply.

I know this will only be something for a future release, it's not a show-stopper, I can work like it is at the moment.

Thx for the feedback. It is understood something has to be done for Vault. We'll be actively searching on ways to address it.
