Vault Checkout seach is slow

Hi,

we recently updated our Vault from Version 5 to 10. I recognize that the search dialog was reworked. In the Version 5 I could search in the root ($) for all checkout files in a few seconds. In Version 10 the same search took over 2 minutes for me.

Interessting fact is the API call of the ServerOperations.ProcessCommandListCheckOuts() function take 5 seconds.

Is there anything what I can do to increase the performance?

Hi Florian,

There weren't many modifications applied to the Search feature that would change performance so we are suspicious something else is going on.

Would you mind to send over your Vault client log to support@sourcegear.com?

To enable client side logging, start a Vault client, as soon as the UI starts, hit "Control Alt Shift F12".

Recreate the performance issue and send over the log.
