Feature Request: Import/Export

I would love to see an import and export feature incorporated in a future version of the Vault, so I could move or copy projects between repositories and between Vault servers. I would envision this as a file based approach so source histories could even be moved to a different network if needed.

Can this be done now? We're starting to plan a spinoff strategy and I need to know how to export the Vault history for part(s) of our repository, but not all of it. The destination will be another Vault server (for a different company). =)

ME TOO!!!!

I really need to be able to Import/Export to move projects around.

I looked at your "Release Notes" on http://software.ericsink.com/entries/vault3.html and I don't see this item listed?

As we refine our internal work flow (around Vault), it has become apparent that we would have organized things differently.

This hasn't been included in Vault 3.0. It's still on our TODO list, though, for a future release.
