Hi,
At this moment we are evaluating SourceOffsit 4.0.2. In our company we work with external developers who are only allowed to view and work with a limited number of projects. Therefore I set the user rights. Now I run into the problem that these users still see all the projects and are able to check in and out.
Did I miss something, or forgot something?

Verify that project rights are set in the VSS Admin tool.
SOS honors project rights, but the implementation is different, depending on the version of VSS Client installed on the SOS Server machine.
With VSS 6, users can see files, but are unable to check them out or in.
Try using the VSS 6.0d client on the server machine. It will honor project rights by not allowing users to see or act on files.
If you continue to experience difficulty, email Linda @sourcegear.com.

Thanks for the reply!
With your help I got it to work!
The project tree is still visible for everyone, which is still not acceptable for me since I don't want my external developers to know which projects I have in my database. If you have some solution for that it would be very nice!
