Identity impersonate

Post by pst@novaq.dk » Wed Aug 31, 2016 3:54 am

I cannot get identity impersonate to work.

WebSite/VaultService/Web.config

<identity impersonate="true" userName="SomeUserName" password="SomePassword"/>

If username is Admin, everything works.

If username is some custom user, I get errors...

I have followed this support site: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic ... ate#p77669

I get “Object ref. not…..”.

Vault version: 8 Standard

The easiest way to set up impersonation is to uninstall Vault, choose the option to keep the database, and reinstall Vault. During that, you would select Custom on the page to set the IIS Process Model and enter in the domain\username and the password. Vault then would set everything you need.

If you prefer to troubleshoot, then can you show me where you get the error mentioned in the original post?
