Where are the settings stored?
I want to e.g. export them into *.ini file and load them into another MergeDiff installation on another computer.
Furthermore I want to use MergeDiff from USB flash Drive on various computers.
If settings stored e.g. in registry I always have manually re-adjust the settings on each new computer.
This is annoyning.
Can the settings be stored in an *.ini file in installation file to make MergeDiff more portable?
Thank you
Peter

Which OS? Do you use it for Windows, Linux, or Mac?
The windows one has the information in the registry.

Ok, thank you for answer.
I am using Windows 7
Is it possible to offer a storage of settings in a *.ini file in installation directory in the next release?
I want to use DiffMerge from USB flash drive and need more portability.
Thank you

I found that if you have the rights to write to the registry, that you can run DiffMerge from a thumb drive. It will write the settings it wants to the registry on the fly. Not quite what you were looking for, but might help in the meantime.
