I've got an old SourceGear Vault repository that I need to access.
1) How can I download the correct Vault client? I'm assuming that the latest won't work.
2) Are there any export utilities that can transfer source control history to other formats? (API access? Xml export? VS TFS export?)

Vault Client 6.1?
Re: Vault Client 6.1?
Previous versions of Vault are here: http://www.sourcegear.com/vault/downloads2.html.
The Vault API is in the same area as the downloads, and examples are in this forum area: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewforum.php?f=39.
Some will use the command-line client to build a history manually can check in each one, but this works better if it's small and not complex.

Re: Vault Client 6.1?
Thanks Beth. Loved Vault, but unfortunately we really needed a low cost, low friction Azure based CM system. I waited through several revisions for that, but when it became clear that there was no roadmap for that, I switched the company to TFS.Beth wrote:If there is anything we could do to help you stay, let me know.
I'm glad I didn't wait, because this shows that I was right: http://kb.sourcegear.com/VaultHelp/view ... 48&t=22506
Re: Vault Client 6.1?
It's not so much a problem with Azure as a problem with people not getting enough permissions. If you have enough permissions to add users and attach databases, or if you have an IIS server there where you can run the installer, you'll be fine.
I have several users using Azure, but they have full admin rights.
