Vault and Visual Studio 2015

Vault and Visual Studio 2015
We are on Vault 8.0.1 (299) and would like to start using Visual Studio 2015.
Do you have a version that supports VS 2015?
Also, we'd really like to make sure the next release of Vault supports the Enhanced Client integration.
Finally, we have had issues with Entity Framework EDMX files, where when Vault doesn't always checkout all the sub files.
Is this fixed too?
Thanks
BTD

VS 2015 is supported with Vault 8.
Where are the framework files located in relation to the .sln?

I'm confused by your answer. We are already on Vault 8.0.1 (299). I didn't think this version supported Vault Enhanced Client? Does it? When is the next release of Vault coming out?

Re: Vault and Visual Studio 2015
Take a look at our Compatibility Chart here: http://www.sourcegear.com/vault/documen ... chart.html. Yes, we support the Vault Enhanced client there.
I need more information to troubleshoot what you are seeing.
Next version is out in a matter of days, but we have no reports relating to .edmx files.

Do the files always not check out? If they do sometimes, then is there just one particular subfile that sometimes doesn't, and is that subfile already added to Vault?

Re: Vault and Visual Studio 2015
If I remember correctly, when you update the edmx from the database (with a change to an existing table or a new table) and then save the edmx, it did not correctly check out all the generated files underneath that edmx
Re: Vault and Visual Studio 2015
Hey Beth, have you seen this before
When I u pdate the edmx from the database (with a change to an existing table or a new table) and then save the edmx, it did not correctly check out all the generated files underneath that edmx
Is this fixed with the next release of Vault.
And can you tell me when the next release is out?
Thanks

Re: Vault and Visual Studio 2015
Next release is already out. I'm trying to put together the same scenario. Would it be possible to have you make a test project with no proprietary stuff in it, ust more of a shell of a similar project., and either post it here or send it to me? You would send thatl to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread.

Let's do this. We will upgrade and test. Then I will let you know. THanks
What is the next release version number and since we are already a customer how do I go about getting keys to upgrade?
