Undo check-out does not set current file time

When undoing a check out the file time on the reverted file is not set to current (even though that is the setting I use).

I ran a test on this and didn't reproduce it.

Which version of Vault are you using?

When you check into Vault, is it set to use current date? If so, what is the date of the last check in? Labels don't count, because those don't need to touch the file.

I use version 8.0.1.

"Set file time" is set to "Current".

In the images you can see how time is "current" on a file I have checked out and edited. The second image shows the state after undo check-out. As you can see the time is set to 01-09.2014 11:07:05, which is far from "current". In fact it is even earlier than the remote date.

Is there any progress on this. It completely ruins our build process, which relies on source files being newer than object files triggers compilation.

I don't have a set date yet, but it's on the developer's list. I'll be able to say more closer to the Vault 9 release as to where we're at on it.

EDIT: Sorry I looked at the wrong bug. We have something coded, but it's in testing. I'll tell you more via your old ticket.

Hi, Beth. I have received your mail, and tried to answer. But my replies have been rejected as SPAM. So I answer here.

I have tested the provided Vault client. The "Revert (touch file)" solves our problem (both when doing an explicit undo check-out and indirectly when creating a shelveset).

But as you can see on the attached image there is a problem with the placement of some of the controls on the shelveset dialog.

The problematic controls stay in a fixed position whereas the other controls follows the height of the window.
