When I leave work for the day I typically don't turn my computer off or logout.
In my case my Visual Studio is still opened.
When I arrive to work the next day and click on anything in my project I get this Vault message
Session is no longer valid. Either the server restarted or your session timed out.
You may need to login again to re-authenticate.
Now I know my server didn't restart.
Is there a way to keep my session alive?

In the Vault admin web page under Advanced Settings is a session timeout. You might try increasing that. Also, if you're not on the latest version of Vault, you may need to perform an iisreset after the change. You can do that by going to Start - Run and typing iisreset.
If you still are getting session timeouts, then check your Vault Server Log. If you see an entry of "System Started" between the time you leave and the time you return, then IIS is recycling, and that disconnects everyone. You would need to turn off the automatic recycling on your Vault application pools in IIS.

Our's is already set to 10080, which is 7 days!
So I am not sure why I am timing out in less than 24 hours!
Can we set to 0 which is no timeout?

In the Vault admin webpage, you can't set it to 0, but I think you can set turn the session state off in IIS. Open your IIS Manager, click on your website, then click Session State. I'm not sure if turning that off will cause other issues or not though.
Did you get a chance to check what the recycling settings are in your Vault application pools?
Is there a reason you leave Vault open overnight?

I am having the same issue ...
The session timeout on web admin page is set to 7 days. Session Timeout = 10080
I looked into the sgvault.log file
3/29/15: System started at 5:24:23am
3/30/15: System started at 5:24:21am. Then around 6:07am up to 5:05pm ther are a lot of login logs.
3/31/15: System started at 4:57:47am
Is that mean the app pool is where I should change?

I'll need to see logs to troubleshoot this further. Can you send me your Vault server log found on the Vault server at %windir%/sgvault/sgvault.log? (Most often that's at C:\Windows\temp\sgvault\sgvault.log.) You can send that as n attachment to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth). Please include a link to this forum thread.
