Permissions Report
I am using SOS 4.2. Can you let me know how I can run a permissions report on a given folder or at the root. I need to do a configuration management audit and verify that certain users have certain permissions by the file and folders.

Are you sure you meant SourceOffSite? All the information on permissions would be in Visual SourceSafe if you are using SOS.
If you actually meant Vault, since that's the forum you posted in, log in to the Vault web client as admin. Click on the SourceCode Control tab, then click Reports and select Folder Security. There you can run the query either on each folder, or you can run it on $ and it will recursively give you the security settings.

I think I meant Visual SourceSafe. We use SourceOffSite 4.2 to check in our code. Sorry about posting in the wrong forunm
