How to show/highlight only files with differences

Post by robtb » Fri Oct 24, 2014 12:08 am

Hi, Im relatively new so forgive me if this may be a stupid question.

How do i show/highlight only the files with differences ?

When i load two folders to compare the files, it shows every file highlighted red whether there is any differences or not so im having to open every single file to check if there is any highlighted differences in them. I have hundreds to compare which is vary time consuming.
Am i doing something wrong here ?

Thanks

DiffMerge defaults to what gives the fastest results. To change this, go to the Tools - Options - Folder Windows - Equivalence Mode. Changing your settings there will get ride of most false positives.

Hi,

I have tried every option in Equivalence Mode with no change. All the files are displaying regardless.

I've tried to make it behave differently so that maybe I could recreate your situation without success. If it would be possible for me to take a closer look then send an email to support at sourcegear.com with a link to this forum thread.
