Hi!
When changing a user password through the web interface -> Server settings -> Users -> Modify, the user is unable to connect using the newly changed password.
We have worked around this by using the "Change password" option directly available at the same location on the web interface. We just want to let you know that maybe there is an issue with this option.
Version 7.2.1.265
IE 11
Thank you!

Did the user completely close and reopen their client after the password was changed? Clients have to be completely reopened to pick up changes from the server. Also, all the clients need to close, which includes any application Vault might be integrated with, such as Visual Studio.

Re: Vault 7.2.1 Password change Web interface
Hi,
We have tried again this morning, and actually when changing the password via "Modify" it never takes effect. We have restarted vault, used the auto-login and manual login. The user is still able to connect using is old password (Changed with the "Change password" option).
We are using the standalone Vault.

In the Vault admin web page, click Users. Do you see on the right side the option that says Change Password? You shouldn't be able to change the password in Modify currently.
