I recently upgraded to 7.1.0(2028) without problem, and have been using VS2012 integration, and Red Gate's SQL Source Control successfully since then on existing projects. But in the last few days I needed to create a new solution folder for a new VS2012 solution, and was unable to do so from within VS2012; the error message being to the effect that the location was not available. So I tried to create a folder manually in Vault's repository, but was unable to do that either. In the vault client, right clicking on the repository root, and selecting the topmost item, Create Folder, brings up the normal dialog, and does not complain, but the folder is not created.
Kindly give me some debugging guidance here: remind me where the logfile is to be found, and what else can I try that would help me debug this simple problem.
Thanks!

Re: Unable to Create Folder in any repository
Are you using the same login name in Visual Studio as in the Vault GUI client?
The log files you will want to look at are the VaultVSIPclient.txt found on your machine in your user temp directory (C:\Users\your user name\appdata\local\temp or type %temp% and press enter).
The other log file to check is the Vault server log on the Vault server at %windir%\temp\sgvault\sgvault.log.
Feel free to post those here (can remove them later) or email them to support at sourcegear.com with a link to this forum thread.
