Vault 7.1 & VB6 Integration on Windows 8 x86

Hello,

We are unable to configure VB6 Integration with Vault 7.1 on windows 8 (32bit)

We followed the instructions on:

Without any success.

Can you please help.

Do you have the 2.0 .NET framework on that machine? If you're not sure, go to C:\Windows\Microsoft.net\framework and see if you have a folder that starts with v2.0.

Do you have all the VB6 service packs installed?

Yes I have .net framework versions 2 - 4 installed. and I am running VB6 SP6
I have tried turning off UAC, and running everything as administrator.
Still no joy.

Open your Vault GUI client and login, then go to Tools - Options - General. In there should be a setting to set Vault as your default SCC provider. Set that and then close Vault. Then try VB6.

If the above doesn't work, what are the symptoms that show that Vault isn't integrating? By that I mean is there no Vault entry anywhere in any of the VB6 menus?

Is there a source control entry in the VB6 add-ins?
