Recently we upgraded from vault standard 5 to vault standard 7.
Since the upgrade, vault isn't working as good as it used to be.
One of the main issues is the often very long connection time to the server.
When vault client is started, it shows: "Connecting to server.....". This often takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Weird thing is that not everyone has this problem at the same time. Sometimes a colleague is waiting, while another connects in seconds. Sometimes all is working well, while minutes later connecting takes forever.
A lot of sometimes.....
What could this be?

connecting to server takes a long time

Re: connecting to server takes a long time
By default, Vault tries to diff the client's cached tree with the current tree when you log in. Sometimes it's faster to just get a new tree from the database.
If users are experiencing slow logins, they can try disabling the setting is in the Vault Client under Tools->Options->Network Settings-> Request database delta on repository cache miss.
