Visual Studio 2013 was released after Vault 7 shipped, so it was not fully tested and support is limited.

The Vault 7.0 client installer will install all of the necessary components required to work with Visual Studio 2013. Note that Visual Studio 2013 must already be installed for the Vault client installer to create those integration components.

Full support for Visual Studio 2013 will be added in the maintenance release of Vault 7.0.1. We don't have a release date as yet.

A quick update. Full support for Visual Studio 2013 is found in Vault 7.1, which was released today.
