I am having import error, i can't understand the messages.
Basically it says
an exception occreed while importing a transction for (TxID:57295 on 9/1/2010 12:51pm by <username>[37]). Encountered exception: an exception occured processing a transaction. Exported Info by zli - 57295 on 9/1/2010 12:51:01pm
Change set items ..............
......
.....
Then at the end it says "the import cannot continue"
Should I send you the screenshot of the error message, please let me know, i'll send it in the email instead posting it in the forum.

Is this a VSS import or import of an exported Vault Folder?
There should be an import log in the VSS Import tool directory, or in the Vault Client directory if this is Folder Export\Import.
Also sent the Vault Server log for the time period of the error. It's called sgvault.log and is in %windir%\temp\sgvault on the server machine.
Send the logs zipped up to support at sourcegear.com, Attn: Linda. Please include a link to this forum post.

Hi Linda,
I am seeing the same error message for different repository. Now, I am seeing this post of mine but can't recall how we resolved this problem.
Can you please help?
Thanks,
Kim

We requested a copy of your Vault database so we could troubleshoot the problem. You were unable to send it at the time, so there was no final resolution.
What version of Vault are you currently using?
Is the current failure during a Folder Export or during an Import?

Hi Linda,
We couldn't provide the entire database to you because it involves many different projects.
This happens during the import, the export went fine. This is with the vault 5.1.1 that I am using the export/import tool.

You could send us the .vfe file you are trying to import. That might be enough for use to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
