Hello,
We would like to use Vault in our company and I am doing some test to know if it fits our way of working. I have found a problem while importing a project in Eclipse 3.7 using the wizard.
In the wizard to import a Vault project I select the folder on the repository that contains the project and press the next button. Then, I am given two options:
- Use existing mappings, where possible: I am not very sure why this option uses that mapping, but I cannot change it.
- Ignore existing mappings and use default location: this options chooses a mapping folder inside my workspace. I also cannot change the folder, but the default one it's ok.
The problem is that, if I select the second option and press next the wizard does not change to the following step. And worst, if you go back, it's like the next button won't work in all the wizard and you cannot use it until you close the wizard window.
Any clue on this error?
Thank you very much.

Re: Choose mapping option in Eclipse plugin
What version of Vault are you using?
The Import function is for importing an entire project and will want to create a new project at the root of the workspace.
If you have working folders already set in Vault, that can affect what you see as well. Do you have working folders set? If so, is there just one set at the root of the workspace or are there multiple working folders to different locations?

Re: Choose mapping option in Eclipse plugin
Hello Beth.
As you said, the problem seemed to be I had already another defined working folder using the Vault client (because I was doing some tests). I detached it from the client and I could import the Eclipse project (a folder in the repository) to my workspace.
Thank you very much for your help.
