How does the admin check-in a file that is checked-out by an employee who is nolonger with the company? Vault Pro 6.1
Re: How does the Admin override a checked-out file
Your options are:
1) If you don't need any changes from that employee, then go to the Vault admin web page. Expand the repository name on the left, then click Undo Check Out. On the right side, click the box next to the item or items to undo the check out on. Scroll to the bottom and click Undo Check Out.
2) If you do need any changes from that employee, then you can use the Vault admin web page to make the employee active again and change the user's password. Then go to the computer the employee worked on, login to the Windows machine as that employee and login to Vault as that user. Then check in his/her files.
