Automatic index service

Post by babydragon » Wed Jul 10, 2013 1:37 pm

Hi!
We have to run index service manually.
Is there any way that we can set up a schedule for index service to run automatically?
Thanks!

In SQL Server Management Studio, there is a feature called Maintenance Plans. You should be able to schedule your script to run as part of a maintenance plan.

Thanks, Beth!
I mean the indexing service for Vault.
Also, my sequel version has no SQL Server Agent, no maintenance plans folder.
Thanks again!

There currently isn't a way to have the Vault indexing service turn on automatically. It has to be set manually via the Vault admin web page.

Does that answer what you are looking for?

It is the answer that I expect, but not the one that I hope for.
Thanks a lot!
