We have seen a marked slowdown in the last few days when checking out files from either VS2012 or through the standard client. I need some pointers on how to start to debug this: for example, it may well be that our database instance is at fault, or that the app server that is running the Vault app is to blame.
The speed of checkout was previously very fast, but this morning it took several minutes for my VS2012 solution to become usable after a checkin/checkout cycle...
Please could you point me in the right direction?
Thanks.
Dave
Slow checkout with VS2012

Re: Slow checkout with VS2012
The first step is to look at client and server logs.
Look in a user's temp directory, %temp%, on the client machine for a VaultGUIClient.txt file that covers the time of the slowdown.
We'd also like to see the Vault Server log, log.txt in C:\Windows\Temp\sgvault.
