We are using Vault Standard 6.1.
My coworker has a solution in Vault which he can open and access with no problem in Visual Studio 2012.
When I try to open the same solution, Visual Studio crashes immediately.
Additionally, it seems to always revert the Vault plugin selection back to "Classic Client".
My coworker is using the Enhanced Client in VS.
We have tried reinstalling Vault, deleting the project and re-downloading it, but nothing works.
Can you help us to get it working? We don't know what else to try.
Thanks.

Re: VS2012 crashes when I try to open a solution from Vault
What happens if you perform the following steps:
1) Open Visual Studio.
2) Go to Tools - Options and select Vault Enhanced Client.
3) Go to File - Vault Source Control - Open from Vault.
4) Select the folder that holds the .sln and any other information not filled in on the window that opens and click OK.
What operating system do you have on your computer?
1) Open Visual Studio.
2) Go to Tools - Options and select Vault Enhanced Client.
3) Go to File - Vault Source Control - Open from Vault.
4) Select the folder that holds the .sln and any other information not filled in on the window that opens and click OK.
What operating system do you have on your computer?

Re: VS2012 crashes when I try to open a solution from Vault
That works now. I did a repair on VS2012 and uninstalled the VS2010 Express. Now when I open VS2012 it defaults to enhanced mode and all is well.
