SourceGear Vault Professional Error
I received the attached error when connecting to our server. I get the repository selection dialog and it lets me log in and upload / download etc. What is causing this?

Re: SourceGear Vault Professional Error
You receive an error but can successfully login?
What version of Vault are you using?
Was Vault ever manually moved to another server?
Do other users receive the same error?

Re: SourceGear Vault Professional Error
Are you able to use the work item tracking?
Were you previously on Fortress and then upgraded to Vault Pro?
Do you get a domain login prompt if you go to the URL http://<your Vault Server>/VaultService/vaultservice.asmx in a web browser?

Were you previously on Fortress and then upgraded to Vault Pro? Back in Fall 2012 we upgraded from Vault Standard to Vault Pro

Look in your IIS Manager. Do you still have a left over Fortress folder? If so, remove the folder called Fortress.
Do your users still get the same error after that?

Do your users still get the same error after that? I did not have anything to delete so therefore we still get the error.
Re: SourceGear Vault Professional Error
In your IIS Manager, check that you have anonymous authentication turned on for the VaultPro folder.
In IIS6, you right-click VaultPro and select Properties, click on the Directory Security tab, and you'll see a check-box for anonymous authentication.
In IIS7, select VaultPro, then double-click Authentication in the center pain. Check that anonymous authentication is set to Enabled.
