installing server on Win server 2012

I'm trying to install the 64 bit server on 64 bin windows server 2012. It's telling me that it can't install because asp.net isn't running, but it is. The server is running iis 8 and asp.net 4.5. Do I need to install something else?

Which version of Vault are you installing?

Run a command-prompt as administrator and then run the installer from that command-prompt.

If that doesn't work, can you post a screenshot of the exact error?

I'm investigating this separately still and attempting to recreate what you are seeing.

On your Add Roles and Features, expand the Web Server (IIS), and then Expand Application Development. Under the Application Development and add ASP.NET 4.5 the .NET Extensibility 4.5.

After that you should be able to start an install.
