So I'm setting up Aptana with the Vault client for the first time, and I'm trying to Import a Vault project into a clean Aptana 3 install. This is with 5.0.4.18845 Vault and client installed under Linux (OpenSUSE 12.2), Oracle JRE 1.7 or JDK 1.6 (tried both, no difference).
I can get into the Import wizard just fine, log into vault just fine, find my project I want to check out, but the problem comes when I get to Choose mapping option... I want to "Ignore existing mapping and use default location" but when I choose that radio-button The "Next >" button does nothing. It's still enabled, but pressing it has no effect (it just sits there).
It may be related to the fact that when I select the project in in the Vault, the message "Fetched <vault path>/.project" comes out in the Aptana Console window. If I pick a point in the vault that doesn't result in this message, then I can select "Ignore existting mappings..." and get past that point.
Does this ring any bells? I'm new to both Vault and Aptana, so maybe there's something basic I'm missing or not understanding?
Thanks!

Does the new mapping fall within your workspace? If not, then you will need to create a new workspace and import the project there. You can't change the mappings to outside the workspace.

Ok, thanks, though it does not even get to the point of allowing me to tell it what I want to do so it doesn't know what the mapping is going to be yet. I'm playing with a workaround where I just point the workspace at the location I want, though it's working completely different for my coworker who has theoretically the same setup. Checking into the possibility that my Vault user permissions are not correct...
