Unable to assign rights to a group on repositories

Post by RNDaniel » Wed Sep 29, 2004 8:29 am

Vault v 2.0.6

I have 6 repositories and have previously assigned rights to groups on individual repositories. Those right still exist and are visible in the admin tool.

Using the admin tool. In the group screen, if I select a group then hit the Security Rights button. then hit Add Assignment button. The only repository presented in the drop down list is the default repository. So, I am unable to assign rights to other repositories.

The same thing happens if I go to the users tab and select Security then try to assign rights there.

I'm stuck. I've added a new user and a new repository for a new project and I can not get that user permission to use the repository.

It seems likely that your repository hasn't had folder security enabled. You can enble folder security for a repository in the repositories tab of the admin tool.

Thought I looked at / tried that, but I'll check again. Thanks.
