V6.0 Upgrade - Incredibly Slow

Just upgraded from v5 to v6 and visual studio 2010 is extremely slow. A simple file save takes 45 seconds. Uninstalled the vault client and IDE plugin and the save took 1/4 second. Also the IDE is super slow when the enhanced client is installed.

What is going on with the new version? I'm attaching my log file so you can take a look.

We cannot survive like this. We need a resolution ASAP.

We have had just a handfull of reports of this. You also emailed Support, and I've responded with some questions about your configuration and a request for the the Vault Server log.

We recently upgraded from Vault 5 to Vault Pro 6 and are having the same problem. Visual Studio has become very slow and Check-In/Out operations from within Visual Studio are also very slow.

Based on feedback about the last Vault Client build we provided, we think we have a fix for the Visual Studio slowdown. This is client-side only -- it will work with your existing Vault 6.x server.

If this fix works as expected, it will be part of Vault 6.1, due out later this month.

Vault 6.1 was released today. This version includes a fix for the Visual Studio slowdown.

You can download Vault 6.1 from our downloads page:

We'd recommend updating clients and server to take advantage of new features and bug fixes in Vault 6.1. Release notes here:
