I have a file A that was shared to 3 other projects/locations B, C and D. Later, D was branched to make it independent. Somehow (probably thru user error), B and C also got "branched" and followed the changes in D. I'm trying to restore the original intent of having A, B and C shared with an independent D. Trying to start over, I perform:
1. Delete B, C, D
2. Share A to only B. A shows up at B, C and D. Properties show all 4 are shared.
3. Branch D. Now A properties say it's not shared. The file icons of B, C, D do not show the bidirectional arrows (shared), but listing the properties shows B,C,D as shared.
4. Delete A, B, C, D. Add A. Repeat 2 - 3, same results.
5. Delete local cache folders. local sgbak folders, same results.
I'm using 5.1.2. How do I clear these "sticky" share links?
Can't reset shared / branched associations
Re: Can't reset shared / branched associations
It looks like share information in the Vault database has gotten out of sync with the actual state.
