Remote Access

My company wants to purchase source gear vault and wants to know if it is capable of being run on a remote, internet exposed server, or if it is designed to only be run in the corporate intranet.

Vault is made to be used over the Internet and can also be used on the LAN. It's a replacement for SOS/VSS, as provides not only source code control, but remote access to your source code repository.
