Database not in drop down menu

We're using version 4.1.2.

When adding a new database, It is not showing up in the drop down menu in the console. I get the error below in the log.txt.

Error verifying database path: Access to the path "E:\Data\Shared\XXXXXX\srcsafe.ini" is denied

Any ideas?

Is E a mapped drive?

Does the account that SourceOffSite run under have access to the VSS database?

You might try making the folder that the VSS database is in a share and giving the account that SourceOffSite runs under access to the share.

Jutst figured it out. The .ini file was set as read only.
