Exception: Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinst
Since upgrade from SOS4 on SOS 5.0.3, we get at update directory of a certain project folder the fault: "Operation failed: - $/directory/include". In the server-log this entry is written: "1: Exception: Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt". Is this problem known and is there a new version or bugfix?

It looks like there may be a problem communicating with the VSS database.
Which version of the VSS Automation Component is the SOS Server using? To determine the SourceSafe Automation Component (ssapi.dll) version used by SOS Server, look at the System Info tab in the SOS Server Manager.
The SOS Server Manager is in the SOS Server directory on the SOS Server machine, usually, C:\Program Files\SourceGear\SourceOffSite 5 Server.

The version number is 6.0.98.48

SOS 5.x works best with the Automation Component from VSS 2005 Update version.
However you could try running Analyze on your VSS database -- it may help. We recommend the -f and -c parameters.

It might be helpful for us to see more of the SOS log.
The SOS Server log is called log.txt and is in the SOS Server directory on the SOS Server machine.
