Cache state out of sync with server

Post by George Mills » Wed Sep 15, 2004 8:47 pm

A new user did her first add project (small tree with a few files).

Her pending change state tab showed "Add Folders" after she was done.
We tried building a fresh tree and still showed this state. The files and project are in the repository.

We ended up blowing away her state in documents and setting\...

She is using the option to store data in working folder.

Other users have been fine after I did an add of the main project and never had any problem.

This is on 2.0.6 using Win 2003 / SQL server

P.S. How do I get account on Gold Support forum. We did purchase a 10 license gold support.

Was there an error in the messages pane when the Add operation happened?

Is it possible the Add files/folder operation was accidently done twice, and then only one of them was committed to the repository? If the option to not automatically commit operations was turned on, this something surprises people that the Add operation doesn't happen immediately, and the operation is attempting again.

For access to the gold support forum, you should have gotten an email about it when you purchased. If you can't find it or didn't get it, contact dixie@[sourcegear_domain_name]
