First of all I should say that I have been using this software for several years now and it has proved invaluable.
I do have one issue. When I compare folders it often shows "Files withiut peers" on the left window when these files do actually exist in the folder on the right. Even if I re-copy the files into the folder they are still listed. I have assumed that "Files without peers" means that the file exists in one folder but not the other. Am I misunderstanding this or is there anything else that is causing the files to still be listed?
Thanks.

Re: Files without peers - query
The "files without peer" status in the folder window
means that we only saw a file with that name in
either the left or right folders, but not both.
When looking at 2 snapshots of a project, it generally
means that a file has been added, deleted, moved, or
renamed between the 2 versions of the tree.
If you go in and replace the missing files (in another
window, for example, and then come back to the
DiffMerge window), we don't automatically rescan
the folder. (It was way too expensive to do that
every time a different window comes to the foreground.)
But you can force the folder window to re-scan using
the "Reload" option from the "File" menu. It should
then find the files that you've inserted.
Let me know if you're seeing something different.
