Integrated VS.NET 2003 Check in w/ Comment

I'm using SourceGear Vault integrated with VS.NET 2003. If I want to check in the file why can't I right-click on the file in the solution explorer and select Check In, then add my comment. There is a menu item for Check In Now but I need to add a comment.

That is controlled by Visual Studio, not Vault. Note that you can add a comment using the Pending Checkins tab in VS.

In the visual studio IDE goto Tools | Options | Source Control | General

On the right side of the screen there is a a group of 5 check boxes, the 4th one being "Display silent checkin command in menus" uncheck that and it will prompt you for comment on right click checkins.
