Line History

Post by Xavier » Wed Oct 19, 2011 10:10 am

Hello,

I cannot find the 'Line History' feature anymore in VS 2010.
I use the enhanced client.
Best regards

Did you right-click on a line inside your code and look at the menu?

Is your project properly bound to Vault? Check the File - Vault Source Control - Change Vault Bindings dialog box to see if you have valid bindings and that the project is "online."

Are you clicking a line inside the file or are you clicking inside the solution explorer? I've attached a screenshot of what you should see when you right-click a line right inside the file.

Could you post a screenshot of what you see?

Was VS 2010 installed after Vault?

What is file extension of the file you can't view a line history in?

Is the .sln file bound as well?

I can't remember but I think I've installed Vault after VS
File is .cpp

.sln was not linked, now it is. It's OK thanks. Weird. May be warning would help.

Thanks Beth

With the Vault Enhanced Client, strange things happen if the .sln isn't bound.

Thanks for the update.
