Attempts to upgrade a Vault 1.2.3 server to Vault 2.0.0 result in a Internal Error 2755. 3 message. The message occurs after clicking next on the "Ready to Install..." page. The installation then "ends prematurely because of an error."
Any help on what this error is and how to avoid it will be appreciated.
Internal Error 2755. 3

The Vault installer creates an install log called vault_install.log in your temp directory (%temp%).
Can you send me your vault_install.log?
The log file may give us some clues as to what is going on.
If you prefer not to post the log to the forum you may email it to me directly.
Thanks!

Some more things to check...
1. If you are installing from the network, try installing from a local harddrive. Windows Installer installations can fail across a network.
2. Error 2755 is normally directly or indirectly caused by insufficient permissions. This can happen sometimes even operating with admin account.
Make sure you have proper rights on destination directory (c:\inetput\wwwroot\), temp folder (c:\winXXX\Temp), and all relevant resources (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys).
3. You didn't mention which OS you are trying to install this on, but the error message looks very similar to a WinNT 4 problem identified by
Microsoft. If this is the case, please visit the following link for more details:
