Doesn't return to folder when action is performed?

Post by elaw » Wed Sep 21, 2011 11:57 am

Vault 5.1.1 on Windows 7-32... whenever I go into a folder and perform an action, when SG finishes I'm taken to another folder? I've been using SG for many years and it didn't do this before 5.1.1.

Here is what happens specifically: I navigate to any particular folder in the tree. In that folder, I perform any action (like "add" or "check in") on one or more files. When SG finishes performing the action, I'm taken to some other folder in the tree, more or less randomly but usually at a higher level.

It's not a real big deal but it would be nice to stop this from happening!

Edit: technical info if it helps:
Vault client & server both version 5.1.1.19215
.NET framework version @ client 2.0.50727.5446
.NET framework version @ server 2.0.50727.3620
OS version @ client 6.1.7601 (Win7-32 SP1)
OS version @ server 5.2.3790 (Win server 2003 SP2)
SQL 2008 SP1

I can't reproduce what you are seeing on a Windows 7 machine currently, and I don't have any prior reports of this.

I think to troubleshoot this, I'll need to take a closer look. Could you send an email to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread?
