Unable to connect after VWD installation

Just installed the Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition Beta (yeah yeah, beta software, I know). Now I get the following when I try to connect to the Vault client:


When I try to connect to the Vault Admin tool:


I have gone through the first 2 steps in this KB article with no problems, still not sure what is going on.

The error I get when I am in VS.NET is here:


I think that may give a better indication of what is going on, I don't know. There is some information at the top of that which indicates there is a different MIME type response than was expected . . .

I was running 2.0.3 and decided to upgrade to 2.0.5 and that fixed it. Still interested to know what happened exactly, but at least I can get back to work now!
