I use the Vault GUI client and keep it minimized to the system tray (notification area) most of the time. To restore it, I have to double-click it. That would be fine except that for some reason, the second click clicks the next icon next to it. In my case, it restores that application as well.
I've tried single-click and right-click and have been very careful with the double-click to keep it over the Vault icon, but it still gets sent through after the Vault application is being restored and after the Vault icon has been removed from the tray.
Kind-of annoying, but admittedly quite a minor issue because I can easily hit Escape to close the other application back down.
I'm using Windows 7 64-bit.

Re: system tray enhancement
I haven't been able to reproduce this. What program icon is being clicked? Is it a particular program or any program in the system tray?
Maybe a screenshot of your tray would be helpful.

Re: system tray enhancement
It always minimizes just to the right of DisplayFusion which I use for multi-monitor support. I double-click on the Vault icon and DisplayFusion pops up. All I have to do is hit Escape to close it, but it's several times a day of course.
I uploaded a screen shot showing DisplayFusion, Vault, and part of Outlook.

Re: system tray enhancement
We couldn't reproduce this on three different machines.
It might be specifically related to the Display Fusion icon.
If you don't need Display Fusion icon in the tray, you can customize the tray properties for that item to only show notifications rather than show the icon and notifications.

Re: system tray enhancement
I don't really want to hide the DisplayFusion icon. And it only affects the DF icon because the Vault one gets removed. I have two other programs that minimize to the system tray and when they are restored, their system tray icon stays there. I think that if Vault did that, the problem would go away (although I agree in principle that it's a nice UI effect to have the icon either in the tray if minimized, or on the task bar if restored).

I've added this issue to work item 6779. It will be evaluated for an upcoming release of Vault.
Thanks for the report.
