Might be a bug in the vault gui.
When I commit from Visual Studio and select a related work item, it brings the item # and description into the comments automatically.
When committing from the gui client, the same doesn't happen.
Thanks

Bug in Vault GUI?
Re: Bug in Vault GUI?
What version of Vault Pro are you using? What steps are you taking when you commit?

Open the vault client, choose some items from the pending change set to commit, click commit, click the V icon with the green gear (choose vault pro work item) and select a work item. Click the hand icon and pick an item, it adds to the list. go back to the source control changes tab and I don't see the message from the item as I would if I did right click Check in and looked up a work item from within VS.

Re: Bug in Vault GUI?
I was able to reproduce this.
I've logged bug 15854 in our bug tracking database. We hope to fix it in an upcoming release of Vault.
Thanks for the report.
