SOS 3.5.3 errors on Windows 2003

Hi,
I am running SOS 3.5.3 server on 2003 (I have installed the JVM) and we keep getting errors along these lines:

Wed Aug 18 09:30:15 GMT+01:00 2004 - BUTTERCUP (192.168.14.31) - Connection Established
Wed Aug 18 09:30:18 GMT+01:00 2004 - BUTTERCUP (192.168.14.31) - "mturner" connected to database: D:\vss\srcsafe.ini
Wed Aug 18 09:30:19 GMT+01:00 2004 - BUTTERCUP (192.168.14.31) - Thread Thread-3 is now the alpha thread
Wed Aug 18 09:33:49 GMT+01:00 2004 - BUTTERCUP (192.168.14.31) - Error reading from file
Wed Aug 18 09:37:44 GMT+01:00 2004 - BUTTERCUP (192.168.14.31) - Error reading from file
Wed Aug 18 09:50:27 GMT+01:00 2004 - BUTTERCUP (192.168.14.31) - Connection reset by peer
Wed Aug 18 09:50:27 GMT+01:00 2004 - BUTTERCUP (192.168.14.31) - Connection reset by peer

and:

also:

Tue Aug 17 11:59:33 GMT+01:00 2004 - 192.168.14.30 (192.168.14.30) - Connection Established

can anybody shed any light as to what is happening here?

What happens to SOS operations? Are connections being closed? Does the SOS Server crash? This could be VSS database corruption or network errors.

First, I'd suggest running Analyze on your VSS database..
